My senior project is going to be based on what I want to become. I want to be a Pediatric nurse.Why? Because I want to help and educate others. And I love kids and kids love me. But how am I going to do a senior project involving what I want to become? Well I plan to get an internship at a hospital or doctors office and get a closer look at the daily life of a nurse. I want to see not just Pediatric nursing but all kinds. For example, ER nursing, Geriatric nursing, Traveling nursing, Cardiac care nursing, etc. I want to see what it's like in the medical field and gain some experience and bring it with me and my journey to success.
I want to see daily struggles nurses go through because being a nurse is physically and mentally demanding and how they handle those demanding struggles so I know what to look forward to. Doing this would actually help me so I know if pediatric nursing is right for me.
Who knows, maybe I'd be better at Cardiac nursing or maybe working with old people (Geriatric nursing.)
The U.S or I should say the world needs more nurses out there and I'm willing to get myself involved and learn more.
